 The
Southern California Ready Mixed Concrete Association
provides information and education to design
professionals, public works officials, contractors
and end-users. Through it’s many producers
throughout southern California, the association
has a cadre of trained concrete technicians
available to provide workshops and/or materials
so that interested parties can make informed
decisions regarding the use of concrete.
Additionally, the association
makes use of partnerships with the California
Cement Promotion Council, The Concrete Reinforcing
Steel Institute, the American Concrete Pavement
Association as well as admixture firms to
better provide information to the public.
The Southern California
Ready Mixed Concrete Association has been
an Eagle Sponsor of the California Council
of the American Institute of Architects
for many years and also provides scholarships
to architectural students for the Monterey
Design Conference and the Desert Practice
Conference. This year the association will
be one of the sponsors for the AIA Annual
Conference in San Diego.
