Newport Beach, CA - Bauer and Wiley Architects of Newport Beach announced the promotion of four key team members to Senior Associate and Associate positions. Brian Pratt, AIA, and Sieglinde Pukke, International Associate AIA, have been promoted to the title of Senior Associate and Lewis Wood, AIA, and Janet Crider, Affiliate AIA, have been promoted to the title of Associate. These promotions broaden the leadership of the firm with a balance of professional responsibilities in design, management and technology.

"We are pleased to recognize these talented individuals for their commitment and contributions to the firm and to our clients," commented Jay S. Bauer, FAIA, who, with Annette Wiley, AIA, IIDA, established Bauer and Wiley Architects in 1992. "As proven leaders, they are poised to support the continued growth and success of Bauer and Wiley Architects."

Brian J. Pratt, AIA, a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, joined Bauer and Wiley Architects at their inception in 1992 and serves as the Director of Membership for AIAOC. As Senior Design Architect, Pratt is responsible for managing master planning, feasibility studies, and architectural and interior design services. Pratt's innovative and award-winning design has benefited such clients as Pomona College, The CAMP Specialty Retail Center, and Quiksilver. As Senior Associate, Pratt will further expand his leadership role while continuing to serve as an integral member of the firm's collaborative design team.

Sieglinde Pukke, International Associate, AIA, a graduate of Georg Simon Ohm-University in Nuernberg, Germany, joined Bauer and Wiley in 1998. As Senior Project Architect, Ms. Pukke's dedication and strong client management skills have enabled her to successfully manage numerous complex projects for clients including the Ocean Institute, California State University Fullerton, and Quiksilver. Pukke will continue to provide day-to-day coordination and documentation leadership for the firm's project teams while taking on additional management responsibilities.

Lewis R. Wood, AIA, a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, joined Bauer and Wiley in 2001, bringing with him over twenty years experience in leading major projects for public and private universities, institutions, and corporations. As Technical Director, Wood's insight into university lab and research facilities has proven invaluable in leading the New Biology Building and Seaver Hall South renovation project for Pomona College.

Janet Crider, Allied Affiliate AIA, a graduate of California State University Fullerton, has been with Bauer and Wiley since 1992. As Director of Finance, her 17 years experience as a financial consultant in the industry have proven her invaluable in the financial management responsibilities of the firm. Crider's longstanding contributions to the team are being recognized with the promotion to Associate.
