Newport Beach, CA - Taylor & Associates
Architects, located in Newport Beach, California,
has recently promoted Brad Smith, IIDA, CID,
Assoc. AIA, to principal. Mr. Smith has been
with Taylor & Associates Architects, for
over twelve years and has played a key role
in the continuing growth of this award winning
architecture and interior design firm.
 Mr.
Smith joined Taylor & Associates Architects
as director of interior design in 1991,
and has served in a leadership capacity
for the firm’s creative and management
teams. Mr. Smith’s 20 years of design
work has incorporated a broad range of project
types with some of the country’s nationally
recognized medical institutions, including
various hospitals, medical facilities, sports
medicine clinics, children’s centers,
and corporate offices.
Mr. Smith began
his career in Texas where he also obtained
a degree in Fine Arts from the University
of Houston. Mr. Smith has also served as
president of the Southern California Chapter
of the IIDA, (International Interior Design
Association), and continues to share his
valuable knowledge with future designers
by teaching at the Interior Design Institute
and guest lecturing at national healthcare
design conferences.
