NEWPORT BEACH, CA – CT Realty Corp., the Newport Beach, Calif.-based real estate investment and development firm, has announced that David L. Ball, AIA, has been promoted to senior vice president of development.

A real estate veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Ball joined CT Realty as vice president of development in 1998. During his tenure at CT, he has directed the design, development and construction of more than 25 commercial and industrial properties throughout California.

Ball previously served as president of I.D.M. Corp. in Long Beach, Calif., where he was responsible for the acquisition, design and construction of $1.2 billion of real estate. While at I.D.M., he oversaw more than 20 public/private sector developments including the Greater World Trade Center. A resident of Corona Del Mar, Calif., Ball is a licensed general contractor and registered architect in California and Nevada.

“Dave has played a crucial role in CT Realty’s expansion and success for many years and continues to bring innovative approaches to the table,” said Robert M. Campbell, president of CT Realty. “His expertise has contributed substantially to the success of this company – which has expanded in size and scope each year since our establishment in 1994. We are very pleased to recognize Dave for his invaluable contributions.”
