Webinar: You've Been Served- the Anatomy of a Lawsuit

This will include a discussion of various contractual risk mitigation measures, effective project document retention policies, the role of professional liability insurance, and the litigation process in both State Court actions and Arbitrations.

  3. How insurance, Errors and Omissions, and Commercial General Liability policies, will respond to litigation.

Presenters:

Lawrence A. Treglia, Jr. received his undergraduate degree from San Diego State University (BA, 1982), and his law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (JD, l986). His practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on construction law, and on representing and counseling design professionals. He has received Martindale Hubbell's “AV Preeminent,” the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards.

Mark L. Armstrong attended law school at Penn State’s Dickinson School of Law where he had the opportunity to serve as a student clerk for the Honorable John E. Jones III, at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.  Mark is a civil litigator whose practice focuses on business disputes, construction claims, and issues affecting design professionals.  Mark has represented numerous design professionals from before litigation begins with strategies regarding how to respond to pre-claim requests all the way through to presenting claims and defenses to jurors.
