JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a Job Captain to join our team in Costa Mesa!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation of Construction Documents

  • BIM model management and content creation

  • Interface with Authorities Having Jurisdiction to attain project approvals

  • Construction administration (review of RFI’s and Submittals)

  • Coordination of design and documentation with junior team members

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate Qualities

  • Ability to guide and work with a team

  • Positive approach, deadline aware and detail oriented

  • Ability to convey digital design concepts and methods to team members

  • Proactive approach and use of new digital design tools

Experience & Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of professional experience in educational design and construction

  • In-depth knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD

  • Experience with DSA and local Authorities Having Jurisdiction

  • Working knowledge of the CBC and Title 5

  • Experience in construction administration

Education & Credentials

  • Architectural associate degree or bachelor’s is preferred

  • LEED BD+C or WELL certification is preferred.
