Lunch Hour Webinar Comparing Plaster Assemblies/Systems Presented By Technical Services Information Bureau/TSIB This Course will show the advantages and disadvantages of various exterior plaster/stucco assemblies including traditional three-coat plaster, one-coat stucco and exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS).  This presentation will highlight the most common plastering assemblies/systems used in today's workforce. With all projects, commercial and residential, having to comply with today’s increasingly stringent energy codes, when opaque exterior walls are specified, all three assemblies/systems are built to satisfy Energy Code requirements. Learning Objectives: An understanding and when to specify one-coat stucco. Explain the role of continuous insulation & exterior plaster/stucco assemblies Explain the benefits of three-coat plaster. Explain the improvements to and debunk misconceptions with EIFS.
